报告题目: Multifunctional Nanocomposites——Sensing and Electrochemical Energy Storage

摘要：

With the desired miniaturization, the materials combining different functionalities have become importantly interesting. In this topic, a variety of advanced polymer nanocomposites will be introduced. Methodologies to prepare nanocomposites and their effects on the produced nanocomposites will be discussed. Unique properties including mechanical, electrical, magnetoresistance etc. and the applications for environmental remediation, energy storage/saving, fire retardancy, electromagnetic interference shielding, and electronic devices will be presented.

报告人简介：

郭占虎主任1996 年本科毕业于山东科技大学化学工程专业，1999年硕士毕业于北京化工大学化学工程专业，2005年博士毕业于路易斯安那州立大学化学工程专业；2005-2008年在加利福尼亚大学洛杉矶分校机械和航空航天工程系博士后。2008年-2014年在拉马尔大学任助理教授，2015年至今在田纳西州大学任副教授。现担任美国化工协会复合材料副主席（2014-2016）和《RSC Advances》、《Journal of Nanomaterials》以及《Chemical Engineering and Process Techniques》等多个家国际学术期刊编委。研究方向包括纳米结构材料、聚合物纳米合成、纳米制造、超导聚合物纳米合成、环境可持续发展和能源效率提高等。先后获得拉马尔大学功勋奖、学术奖。主持3项美国自然科学基金和多个科研项目，拥有5个美国专利，在化学会评论（Chemical Society Reviews）、先进材料（Advanced Materials）、先进功能材料（Advanced Functional Materials）、化学通讯（Chemical Communication）、大分子（Macromolecules）、纳米技术（Nanotechnology）和物理化学（Journal of Physical Chemistry C）等杂志发表论文280多篇，被引8000余次，H指数为50。
